The Orson Nomad 2 Person Tent (formerly known as the Spirit 2) is a rugged, lightweight dome tent engineered to excel in demanding New Zealand weather conditions.
Built for superior durability and protection, the Nomad 2 boasts strong waterproofing specifications. It features a resilient PU4000mm Ripstop polyester fly, designed to effectively shed heavy rain and resist tearing.
The Nomad 2 offers generous internal dimensions for its class, making it comfortable for one to two campers. The internal space measures 220cm long x 150cm wide x 110cm high. This double-walled tent design promotes efficient temperature regulation. Access is managed via a single front entrance featuring a handy inverted 'T' door, leading into a functional vestibule perfect for storing boots, packs, and wet gear outside the inner tent.
Despite its rugged construction, this model maintains a remarkably low weight, coming in at just 2.7kg, making it an excellent choice for tramping and backpacking. Setup is easy and intuitive, aided by poles that slot quickly into aluminium eyelets at the corners. To ensure optimal ventilation and minimize condensation, the tent incorporates two adjustable air vents positioned at the front and back of the fly, offering flexible airflow options. Interior convenience is enhanced with internal storage pockets, a ceiling hook for a light, and a dedicated gear loft. The Orson Nomad 2 is supplied complete with all necessary guy ropes, 12 durable aluminium stakes, and a compression carry bag for streamlined transport, making it a complete, ready-to-go camping solution.
